Sony Computer Entertainment Japan demonstrated PlayStation Vita’s facial recognition technology at the Game Tools & Middleware Forum 2011 in Tokyo this week. A webcam-style application saw two users chatting through virtual avatars that followed their every facial action, including head turning and lip moving.
