Today's picture was taken in 1913, and it shows two legends of baseball. Ty Cobb is on the left in the Detroit uniform, and Joe Jackson is on the right in the Cubs uniform.
I really believe back at this time that men played more for the love of the game. I have to admit that I have gotten pretty disgusted with all professional sports at this point. There is way too much showboating and grandstanding, and it is all about the individual superstar, and not about the team or the fans.
