So, I don't have any other choice...... I have to do the review... but I have special message for you (our government) before banning any anime from our beloved country
(japan??:bloon:)why don't you ban the "sex related horror movie in the cinema!!!" yeah they even invited the porn actress to play on that movie... so which one is the real bad influence??

Hahaha please don't mind my mumble here, and mine:XD: I made this post wholeheartedly without any force from third party,:tampan:o rly? because I like reviewing things :D but the part where I critics the government is serious matter !!! and I meant IT!!

Story / Synopsis
A squid girl named Ika Musume vows to conquer humanity as revenge for its pollution of the ocean. Her first task is to make the Lemon beach house, owned by the Aizawa sisters, her base of operations. However, when she accidentally breaks a hole in their wall, she is forced to work as a waitress to pay off the damages.

Characters

Ika Musume (イカ娘, lit. Squid Girl?)
Voiced by: Hisako Kanemoto
A girl who comes from the sea with plans to invade humanity as punishment for the pollution done to the sea. However, after causing damage to a beach house, she is forced to work as a waitress to pay for the damages and also sleeps at the Aizawa residence. Like a squid, she has ten fully controllable arms that protrude from the top of her head like hair, and can spew black ink from her mouth. She enjoys shrimp and greatly fears natural predators like killer whales, to the point that even swimming floats shaped like killer whales terrify her. She almost always ends her sentences with "geso" (ゲソ?, lit. "arms of squid as food") as a final particle and emphasizes "ika" in sentences, which is reflected by how it's written (e.g.:ja na ika (~じゃなイカ?, lit. isn't it?)).

Eiko Aizawa (相沢 栄子, Aizawa Eiko?)
Voiced by: Ayumi Fujimura
The manager of the Lemon beach house who has red hair. She is a strong-minded girl and generally annoyed by Ika's behavior, but she pays much attention to Ika. Video games are a weakness of hers and studying is her weak point.

Chizuru Aizawa (相沢 千鶴, Aizawa Chizuru?)
Voiced by: Rie Tanaka
Eiko's older sister who has blue hair and never shows her eyes in most situations. She appears to be rather kind; however, whenever something bothers her, she can exhibit superhuman ability and is actually much scarier than Eiko. Her fearsome aura as well as opening her eyes usually keeps Ika and others who displease her in check.

Takeru Aizawa (相沢 たける, Aizawa Takeru?)
Voiced by: Miki Ōtani
Eiko and Chizuru's little brother, who enjoys playing with Ika. Ika, on the other hand, seems to regard him mostly with disinterest and appears to have a low opinion of him, though she frequently plays with him anyway.

Gorō Arashiyama (嵐山 悟郎, Arashiyama Gorō?)
Voiced by: Yuichi Nakamura
A lifeguard and Eiko's childhood friend. He has a crush on Chizuru and secretly keeps several pictures of her.

Sanae Nagatsuki (長月 早苗, Nagatsuki Sanae?)
Voiced by: Kanae Itō
A neighborhood friend of Eiko who has a pet dog named Alex. She has a rather obsessive crush on Ika, constantly taking pictures of her and trying to get intimate with her.

Nagisa Saitō (斉藤 渚, Saitō Nagisa?)
Voiced by: Azusa Kataoka
A surf-loving girl who starts working at the Lemon. Unlike everyone else, she sees Ika as a threat to humanity and is genuinely afraid of her. Ika on the other hand is pleased that there's someone who fears her and constantly teases her whenever she can. For a short period, Nagisa started dressing up as a guy in order to attract female customers and stop Ika from teasing her, but she gave up after assuming she needs to be the one who recognises Ika as an invader.

Cindy Campbell (シンディー・キャンベル, Shindī Kyanberu?)
Voiced by: Hitomi Nabatame
An extraterrestrial researcher from the United States who believes Ika to be an alien and is constantly trying to get her to admit being one so she can take her back to her lab.

Kiyomi Sakura (紗倉 清美, Sakura Kiyomi?)
Voiced by: Kokoro Kikuchi
A middle schoolgirl who Ika makes friends with after a prank gone wrong. She is the first person who Ika makes friends with and they soon become best friends.

wait, where's the three idiots? :???:
OK after knowing the details of the anime
let's start my marvelous yet seems stupid:puff: review :D

Story (6/10)
Well what can I say about the story? it has a little story, just like Doraemon... except this anime has an ending... The anime itself consist of 12 episode and each episode have three small episode which usually didn't have relation to each other so the total is we have 3x12=36 small episode.so what can I say... the anime only has a story at the begining and the end of the anime. so I give 6 out of 10 point for the story

Art / Graphics (7/10)
ok, about the art... I'm not saying that art is bad, but it didn't interest me at all, what I meant here is the way the character itself drawn by the artist, maybe it's the style of the artist... so I can't complain much. About the background so far I didn't found any flaw at all.... and the animation is quite decent... so for the art I'll give 7 out of 10.... not too bad... but not too good either.
at least it's good and clean ^^

Seiyuu / Voice (8.5/10)
ok the seiyuu is one of the reason why I love this anime.. the seiyuu is awesome gesho...The seiyuu itself is match with the character personality gesho.. so I cannot say much about the seeiyuu gesho... so i'll give 8.5 out of 10 gesho... gesho??? GESHO!!!!! GESHO!!!!!!
(what? it's geso... I just stuttered ^^)

the OP and ED are good too...:fufufu: great cheerful, weird yet fun... and the ED is normal to me... so I agree with 8.5 score

Character (8.5)
ok, let's put off the geso way of speaking... and now let us talk about the character.. and one thing which I can say about the character is awesome too, just like the seiyuu, nearly all of them is interesting to watch when they communicate with each other... one of my favorite character is the trio scientist(baka scientist)....especially when they meet Ika musume.... it's priceless.., and the rest of the character have other unique personality, except the youngest brother (takeru) which is quite futsuu for me... so for the character I will give 8.5 out of 10...

spoiler:
yandere onee-san...
stupid yet reliable lifeguard... hahaha!! naiz

Overall (7.5)
and now we reach the last part of the review..the overall and now let us count the medals... eh.. score

6+7+8.5+8.5=30/4 = 7.5

it's a decent anime... it worth to watch.. one thing which the anime lack off is the story.. if the anime has a story... it will be better..

if it's a decent anime, why you just give it 7.5 ???
:sigh:baka...

why don't you watch this anime...?? even Obama watch it :D

so, let's wrap the thing up now....the review is done, and let us hope that Anime will not be judged bad in our country anymore..... Amen...:doa:
See you on the next review :D
